Heartland Water Technology
Dismantlement & Selective Demolition
Backsight Demolition successfully completed a complex dismantlement and selective demolition project at Heartland Water Technology. The scope of work required precision, coordination, and strict adherence to safety protocols within an active industrial environment.
Our team performed the systematic dismantling and removal of multiple gasification units, associated electrical systems, and large-scale heat exchangers. In addition, chiller units were carefully disconnected, dismantled, and removed from the facility. Each component was methodically deconstructed to ensure safe handling, transport, and recycling where applicable.
We also removed extensive pallet racking systems throughout the facility, maintaining structural awareness and minimizing disruption to surrounding operations.
As part of our value-driven approach, Backsight Demolition identified and salvaged viable equipment within the facility. Select components were resold, allowing us to offset overall project costs for the client—delivering not just demolition services, but measurable financial return.

This project required a high level of expertise in selective demolition, as well as the ability to work around existing infrastructure and utilities. Backsight Demolition utilized experienced crews, specialized equipment, and proven methods to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance from start to finish.
Key Capabilities Demonstrated:
Industrial equipment dismantlement (gasifiers, heat exchangers, chiller units)
Electrical system removal and isolation
Interior selective demolition in an active facility
Project Key Points:
